Kitties Make Ten

By Jaime Cross

Attention, attention! Our ankle biters have found more kittens! We thought another of our cats, Alice, looked awful tubby a couple weeks ago-then it all maigcally disappeared. My daughter, Madison, was out nosing around the shed a couple of days ago & heard mewling. In the ditch under some branches we had put in there from the ice storm she found 3 new kitties!

There is another tiger-striped one, a grey & white one, & an all white one with grey on its tail & grey dots on its ears. I have claimed that one for my own. They are wary of people & hiss & spit when you go to pick them up. Which is quite funny. We tried bringing them in the house to stay with the others, but the momma cats didn’t like them & Alice, their momma, would have nothing to do with them inside. As soon as we got them back outside, she took to them again. My son, Cristian, moved them into our barn into a cabinet with some hay, as they were getting soaked where they were. As soon as they are weaned, I plan to bring them inside to get used to everyone. The lil white one will become a housecat & playmate for my yorkshire terrier, Sookie.

  1. Mother

Jamie, I can see why you love the white one. She is adorable with her little black nose.

  2. Yeah, she is really cute & her nose is more of a grey color. I will have to get more pictures as they get bigger. We are going to be overrun with cats haha
