Christmas 2009
Well, the Christmas season is upon us once again. I have been very busy, as has Will. We try to keep Christmas Eve as simple as possible. I made a bacon, egg & cheese casserole for dinner. While dinner was in the oven, we put up the tree. We always put it up Christmas Eve & take it down a couple of days after, little hands everywhere! We did something different this year & let all the children open one gift before bed. They were really excited & happy with the present they got to open.
This year they are actually asleep by 10PM. Last year the excitement kept them awake until 3 to 4AM. This did not make Santa very happy.
I baked cinnamon rolls & a bundt cake today. Tomorrow morning I will make donuts & bake a ham for Christmas dinner. I look forward to watching them open their gifts. I hope next year to spend Christmas with my family in Virginia with all of the aunts, uncle, cousins & grandparents. We had a great loss in the last 14 months of my Mother in August 2008, my Uncle Rob in June 2009 & my NaNa in October 2009. They are all missed dearly & in our hearts & thoughts.
From our family to yours, Merry Christmas. May your holiday be joyous & safe. God bless.

All decked out and ready for the morning shredding.
