Out and About
I decided to talk Tom out for a walk around our farm today. I wanted to check on the animals & pat the horses a bit. Unfortunately when Will & I went out earlier, we found our baby billy, Peanut, dead in the goat shed. It looks like he may have gotten smothered as he was fine yesterday.
Tommy & I visited Turkey Lurkey first. She has gotten pretty big & will more than likely be on the dinner table this weekend.

Next we went to see the horses. Little Bit came right up, of course. He likes his nosed patted. Penny & Diego are a little shy, but Penny took some hay from me & let me pat her nose a little. Diego still refuses to have anything to do with me.

After walking around for a bit we went to play on the swingset for awhile. Tom really loves being outside, though he doesn’t care too much for the animals right now.

We finally wound up on the front porch in my glider rockers. It was a nice day out & we sat there for quite a bit. While sitting there, I kept hearing the bunnies thump against the wire on the front of their hutch, which is at the far end of the porch away from the rockers. The view of it is blocked, so I walked over to see what was going on. This is what I found:

Somebunny got his head stuck in the hole of the lid
Cristian & Madison finally got him unstuck, it was rather funny though

sorry to hear about peanut.
Thanks, jel. Opal is doing just fine, thankfully.
