Fancy That
After a year of waiting, my horses are here! Our friend Billy had asked me last year if I wanted a Tennessee Walker mare he had, along with her foal. I said, yes-of course. We have 3 miniatures, but they are only a bit over 4 feet tall. I wanted a horse I could ride.
He tried & tried to catch her, along with the foal, with no luck. Will & James even went out there awhile back to try & get them. No luck there either!
We were sitting up here earlier getting some work done & heard a truck coming up our drive. It was Billy! He finally caught the mare. She had birthed a filly a few weeks ago & she (the filly) wandered into his small pen. The mare finally followed her in there & he shut the gate.
They are beautiful horses. The mare, as I said, is a Tennessee Walker & her filly is Tennessee Walker/Paint. Now, I have to just have to break her to ride then the filly, when she is old enough.
