Snow Days!
Happy New Year! Yes, I know I am a little late-ok way late. I have been very busy. We have had at least 10 snow days here since school let back in on January 3rd. Of course, I have heard all the things kids say when they are stuck at home: I’m bored, there’s nothing to do, so&so is bothering me, she hit me, he took my toy. It goes on & on!
I think I have mentioned before that we live in a very rural area. Our road is 2 lane, but most of the side roads are 1-1.5 lanes. The closest 4 lane road near here is more than likely the interstate. So if we get an inch of snow, the schools shut down. The only good thing about that is that I don’t have to get up @ 5:30am.

This winter seems to really be dragging out up here in our neck of the woods. Its not super bad, just snows every other day, never gets above freezing, cloudy most of the time. This will be one spring I’m really looking forward to!! Hang in there down your way!! God Bless!
It is dragging out here as well. We are supposed to see more snow on Wednesday. At this rate, the kids will be making up snow days until school lets in for next year!
