Time Flies
It’s hard to believe that March is almost over! We had some warm weather this week, but it has turned cold & rainy again, go figure! We had new babies come on Thursday: ducks, geese & rabbits. The geese were so adorable I called Detweiler’s & ordered more.
Right now we have the ducks & geese in a brooder box at the back of the kitchen next to our chickens brooder box. The rabbits have a cage all their own to the back, too. As soon as they all get big enough, we will move them to the new pen. Here’s to hoping for more warm weather in April! Happy Spring y’all!
The problems will arise when it comes time to eat them and the kids go nuts cause they have made pets out of them.

For the record, Jaime decided to go with me to detweilers today and had to get some more of the ducks. She has more geese on order too, so they should arrive before long as well. The turkeys and cornish hens we have coming won’t be here until around May.
